It is that time of the year again, when the greatest National Hunt meeting takes place in the UK. It seems like 5 minutes since last year and looks like being another cracker. If any of you are attending, good luck and I hope you enjoy it. I will have to be content with watching on the tv and having a little flutter from home. I have a brother who will be there on Thursday and Friday. Jammy devil. I have made my choices for today and am off out early so as to get back for the off.

Lol - not much hope if i cant even get the name right then - yes put the bet on yesterday while browsing the festival - took it as safest bet of the early races.
Still missing the racecaller website - amazing info was available there.

All the races are available online Talbot. I take it that you are "away". If you have an account with most of the online bookies(bet 365 for me) you can automatically watch using their safe websites rather than the streaming pirates.

Funnier things have happened.
Cayton, tipster in the Daily Worker had a tendency to pick Russian this, Red that.
Won the Sporting Life Naps Table 4 times including when Russian Hero won the Grand National at 66/1. Lol.
I'll do 'No Comment' in the 4:50 cos I like Derek O'Connor(j) at Cheltenham.

Afternoon, all, and good luck to those having a punt. I normally build up a bank of about £200 for the 4 day festival and i have done so again, this year. However, my confidence (low as it was in the first place) has been diminished even more by the forecast heavy going, which possibly puts paid to some of the stats i rely on. So, until the going alters (or, and pigs will fly, i make a substantial profit), i am restricting myself to about £25 per day. So;
