What happens in a penalty shoot out? Say in a World Cup game?
If Germany missed a penalty in a shoot out, so England won a World Cup game, presumably he'd want the commentators to say oh dear, that was very unfortunate for the German player.

He'd hate to think of his team winning just because the other side failed to score any goals.
Very unsporting to be pleased that your opponents didn't score.
In fact, it's always unsporting to be happy when your opponents lose. You should only be happy when the other team wins.

"However we acknowledge that on occasion this excitement got the better of them and this is something that we will work on for future events."
So the commentators will be told to stop getting excited?
For real ???

"If you don't like it, don't watch it."
