when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Isn't The Full Monty a brilliant film?

I've been away so long,I may go wrong and lose my way :)
I've heard that you can really breathe in San Jose.
put a hundred down and buy a car

Just watched Disney's Frozen, a lovely film although it made me feel quite chilly so am now sitting in lounge with the fire .
In a week maybe two ,they'll make you a star ...
Oh ha ha ha, just told Mr N that you are quoting from the song and he has politely told me that we were actually in San Juan, nowhere near San Jose, silly me!!
(he also said not to tell you!

we do have a San Jose here it's where the airport is
and all the stars that never were, are parking cars and pumping gas

sorry had to, love that song.
Altogether now ...

oh deary me, neti, next thing you'll be saying you've driven to Amarillo.
is this the way to Amarillo?
Just heard that Peter O'Toole has died at 81. RIP
we are having another rattley noisy horrible evening here. Its getting boring now. I have writ all my christmas cards, parcel wrapping tomorrow.
Evening everybiddy. You sound a happy lot - singing along together. I was singing away last night listening to Steady. He sang some great songs. It was the first time I had been to one of his solo gigs. My 2 sisters were there as well. Great fun. Had a really good weekend with an lovely early Christmas dinner and a visit from Santa on Friday/Saturday.
This coming week isn't going to be as busy as the last but am still off out for a couple of meals.Tuesday is Tai Chi Christmas 'do' for 12 of us. Should be a good one then next weekend Steadier is coming over to see me. Looking forward to that as I haven't seen him since the Summer.

Hope you are all ok and getting ready for Christmas and that all aches and pains keep their distance for it. I think mine will be a quiet one and I don't think I will mind at all as I will be seeing Derby v Chelsea on 5th Jan.at Pride Park. Don't all start booing - you know I love it !!!! lol :-)

I fancy a cuppa cocoa so oight oight everybody see yer later!

It's got a bit rattly and noisy here too .
Especially when I put the tree on the table ,turned round and the damn thing toppled sideways .Good job it's only a smallish one or it would have crashed everywhere ..lol. I wonder why I put myself through this palaver every year !
The lounge looks as if a bombs hit it and the tree is on the wonk .I've shut the door on it and I'll titivate it tomorrow .My back's singing me a song now .
Yes ,sad news about Peter O'Toole .He was a fine actor .
Oight Oight all .
oh whoops shaney, twice in my life i have had a six foot tree fall over. the first time it overbalanced in the night, we didnt hear it and got up to disaster, the second time was when our old girl Hannah, suddenly realised after years of christmasses with us, that the tree had chocolate on it. i got in from work to find the tree defeated and bits of chocolate foil everywhere. this was about 20 years ago, before it was realised that chocolate would make dogs ill.
Weather still evil here, i have lost the sky signal so watching pre recorded stuff. dogs are a bit alert and concerned but not really worried which is wonderful. nothing important happening tomorrow so can just get up late.

Peter O'Toole lived just round the corner from us - I never saw him but OH met his housekeeper once, a brush with fame!

Flat out as usual, Jude? I shall be going to a Christmas dinner (pizzas) with OH's former work colleagues as we do each year, but apart from December 25 itself I think that's it. I've done my gift shopping online - tickets to Monty Python included - but I'm getting tired of sitting at the desk (and putting on weight like there's no tomorrow) so I'll try to get out of the house if the weather holds off.

by the way, anyone awake for the next quarter hour, you can get a free three-month Tastecard until midnight

http://www.tastecard.co.uk/trial/3/mse

Good at lots of restaurants for bogofs or half-price meals
I am still awake but go out to restaurants less than once a year, if that, so thanks but not for me. Still noisy here but tv signal is back.
Morning all... the wind keeps getting up, it woke me in the early hours but it's very mild for December.

I'm not a restaurant person either, I must go to the wrong ones 'cos I'm usually disappointed...too fnacy/spicy....veg too hard and crunchy... not enough gravy/sauce... where's the Black Forest gateau? :)

oooh chocs on the xmas tree, I haven't done that for years because of dogs...it might be an incentive to put my tree up after all

I think ♫Show me the way to go home...♫ is more my tune....but don't worry (one of my all time songs)

One of my favourites too Robi. We had a very noisy night here, ended up watching tv till 4 am when things settled a bit, we all had breakfast and went to bed. I have got a huge cup of coffee and the dogs are asleep again. yawn.
