when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Isn't The Full Monty a brilliant film?

All I normally have for brekkie is one slice of white toast, clover and a scraping of marmelade or jam, I hate it spread thickly, surely that is OK and two cups of black tea.

I do have two cups of coffee in the village with sugar.
I'm sorry for whingeing away, I have a lot to be grateful for. Just advise me and then tell me to shut it and No Robi no thwacking me, I am almost but not quite, an old lady.
Morning all
Drizzy and damp here .Joint aching weather .Hope you're all ok .
Try some fruit in your porridge Neti ,raspberries or blueberries .Can you get them frozen in Ibiza ?
That'll sweeten it .I don't like any ersatz sweet stuff and would rather go without .They all seem to have a nasty aftertaste.I don't take sugar in tea or coffee anyway.Never have .
I must do some Christmas stuff .Tempus Fugit and I'm still dithering around .
That breakfast sounds fine Neti. I found that when I have porridge as well as toast it stops me going to the biscuit tin at 11ish. And I only have a ginger or rich tea if I do have one which is very rare. Please don't worry about going on I was in a right mess when I had to sort out what I could and couldn't eat.
No can't get the frozen beries here anymore, get them sweetened in tins!! Anyway I couldn't eat fruit with porridge, I am a funny eate!
Am gonna stick t my toast for brekkie, it's hardly a feast is it?

Have just done my criminails, 3 of them, they went white and I thought it was because I used too much nail varnish but it's fungus, by 'eck I am rotting from the inside out!

Never take sugar in tea, but do in coffee, will have to see what substitute they have here!

Damn leccy keeps going off, the whole area not just me, and there is a very black cloud hovering, so it's back to the 70's when the leccy went off t the drop of a hat. am cooking myself chicken breast, small pot, peppers, chestnuts and onion for dinner, if the overn stays on. Have just really got to not indulge as much as I normally do.
Does my grammar sound a bit strange? It does to me now I've re read it.
neti, it sounds fascinatingly foreign lol.
i always took sugar in hot drinks but when i used to visit people in their own homes they would offer me tea or coffee, say " milk and sugar" then panic when i said yes please as they had no sugar because no one in the house took it! to save embarrassment i started to say no sugar thanks and got used to it. i prefer it with a little but its no problem to stop for which i am grateful.
Aha woogy that's a good one, I am fascinatingly foreign, BTW I did not mean the typos.

sounds like Chico Marx... telling kids to play the piano but "no woogy boogy". Can't remember what film that was in.
Reminds me of your sister Jno from the impression I got, fascinatingly foreign as she swept through with big hat and swathes of scarves.
Question Author
she is swathed in scarves now, living as she is on the edge of a field in Essex with winter all around her and the wolves baying in the woods.
Oh dear Jno, that doesn't very exotic for her, swathing around Essex just doesn't sound right, not that there's anything wrong with Essex, having lived there myself!
Oh I don't know, swathed in scarves, snow and wolves....sounds quite Anna Karenina to me
Yes woofy, but in Essex???
Gosh ..how virtuous am I ?
I've written and posted the Christmas cards !
I found a little china Rudolph and a snow globe that I bought at the Heart Foundation shop recently and have hung him on the cabinet door handle and put the snow globe on the window sill . Slow but sure ....lol.
The tree etc is in the loft and I can't get up there and Mr S definitely can't so hopefully Picky may come at the weekend and heave it down for us .He shoved it up there last year !
My SiL is home with a bucketful of pills .She sounds a bit croaky but said they were lovely to her in the hospital .She has to take it easy and my brother is fussing and flapping around like a headless chicken :)
was going to write cards today but did a load of domestic engineering instead (and fell asleep).
Neti you complain away, I blooming would.
Shaney I'm glad your SiL is back home with loads of pills, sounds like me now!

Love your decorations, minimalist to say the least.

I have done and posted all xmas cards and pressies, but cut the list down dramactically this year.

Just watching Corrie and thinking that I'll have a coffee. I made myself a chicken a veg roasted type dinner which was very nice. But when Mr N came home he pottered in the kitchen and came out with a trayful of nibbles, salami, sobrasada, cheese, crisps, pickled onions, and pickles, so of course I couldn't be churlish and not nibble now could I?
Did the medico not give you a diet sheet Neti or arrange for you to see a dietician ? Surely he can't just tell you that you could be borderline diabetic and not give you any hard and fast guidelines as to what you can and cannot eat You would be shuffled off to the dietician pdq here .
I've just watched the first part of Lucan ..it was very good .
I wonder if he is still alive .He must be about 80ish by now though .Tragic story really . I'll say goodnight ..Sleep toight .
