I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..
"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party".

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Rest? On honeymoon Jno? You're having a laugh!
And now hija has her mobile up and running with free calls so every minute I am being texted (!) Called and Face booked!
Like busses Neti, none at all, then all together.
Very true woofy, even over here, but never on a Sunday, hardly any busses at all.

Sisters holiday all booked here for October.
I really hope so, neti. The idea with Capri is that there isn't much to do there and they could just relax by the pool, but I imagine they'll be pretty shaken up phsyically (not sure a three-hour bus journey will help much but I suppose it'll be a comfy coach). The ferry should be smooth, but it seems it could still be stormy there.

Evenin' all...oh dear, while I was catching up on sleep and life it's all been happening.

Sounds like a lovely wedding day jno, I'm so pleased that jno jnr and his new wife are safe, how scary for them and worrying for you. I hope they manage to enjoy their honeymoon and have a safe and uneventful journey home.

And gas tank explosions down woofy way?...hope no one was hurt.

My annoyance du jour pales into insignificance after that...I was charged for something (89p) twice in the co-op, tut. Oh, and my hairdresser's full of cough & chest infection so I won't be getting a trim until she's better. I didn't do anything mexico related today, Monday's are far too hectic. The last time I went on a monday I went in 45 mins past my appt time...there's no way I want to be loitering at the surgery with all these bugs going around.
you sound a bit better Robi?
Question Author
Well yes thanks woofy, just tired and about 3lbs lighter again :(. That's the way it goes, it's usually some discomfort followed by a 2/3 hour-ish sprinting event, followed by a few days of discomfort and no movement...and then all is usually ok for anything from 5 days to a couple of weeks before a minor or major event again. I'm annoyed 'cos I'd been relatively ok for 6 months before it started again in June. it all seems to be very classic IBS...one day I'll pluck up the courage to have an investigation I suppose.
yup, Robi, Mexico!

I was told ibs years ago, so I've been holding on to that diagnosis :)
Now what I'd really love to know is...when hair still joined to scalp touches your neck or face it's ok....but one stray hair drives you mad?! How does your body know the difference?
oh yes, I've received notice of the arrival of some more impending poo sticks. It's a little tiring getting letters from the NHS all the time, but I suppose I can start worrying when they decide I'm no longer worth the postage.
I had to HOUND THe NHS here for postage to get my mammogram.

Hi Robi glad you had some sleep. You really should be investigated. My IBS disappeared for literally years but returned this year. I always have the runs and d

ries but not that gripping pain which drove me mad earlier, luckily it has gone now.
^^sorry phablet went loopy ( well actually I pressed the wrong keys)

Glad the honeymooners are OK Jno, at least they have each other.
Mr N bought me a folding sewing table but while zooming up a sheet seam it all bounced so he has now put in a wooden board and it is stable now. Love being able to repair things instantly.
Hi Jude! Hope you are feeling better!

Hello Biddyfriends. Pleased all's well with th Honeymooners. Hope I've not got that wrong as well.
I'm not too bad today but the sick feeling still comes and goes. Usually when I get . But today I was to eat something today (3 meals) not big just as much as I could manage.
Still haven't done my ironing. May go up and do it and watch UC at 7.30. I think I've got the times wrong so I'll prob iron during New Tricks. But then I could leave it til tomorrow.
Jude, REST, the best way to beat the bug is rest, which does not mean doing ironing. I found Colofac was magic when i got the IBS this last time. You have to take it around 20 minutes before meals though which is why I think it had never worked for me before. I am very bad at not bothering to eat then being hungry NOW. I got my poo sticks last year and all was fine. its every 5 years isn't it?
We dont get poo sticks here only if one works
in catering, I don't!
I did my PSs early this year an at least that was ok. My Glucose fasting test was ok too. But I've no idea about my cholesterol. Can't be a****d with that!
Goodnight all. Thanks for caring you're lovely people.
Poo sticks is every two years. They send them to Mr S as well in spite of the fact he can't do the test.
I hope the honeymooners have arrived safely at their destination by now.
Glad both Jude and Robina feel a bit better . I stick with the IBS diagnosis too. I get periods of dashing , drives you mad .I've been half way down the road and have had to turn back sometimes.
Typing this on my tablet. Takes forever ....lol.
