I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Thanks for that Woofy and Robi, I'm not sure of the pain has eased or not, but I think they are less painful.

Just been out for coffee and ensaimada cake (which is traditionally a breakfast cake, but when needs must!) back home, rain has stoppped and I have had a bath and washed my hair, still it's a long day.
I take them Neti but my cholesterol is only 4 !
I thought they were contributing to my chronic pain and stopped taking them but it made no difference .Still have the pain so it can't be the statins .
They would tend to make you generally achey not just in one place . You may have arthritics in your tootsies .Monitor the situation :)
It got out lovely here and I did sit outside for a while but it's clouded over now .
We don't measure our cholesterol like that, mine is just over 200, (200 being Ok) so not too urgent. My toes feel fine, but other times they hurt so much, I am so used to being barefooted and pick things up with my toes so any slight difference is noticeable. Mexico said gout and then said arthritis, but am terrified of having a a stroke, so think the aches would be preferable. Just cannot wear high heels anymore, not that I ever did, but the balls of my feet are like walking on knife edge, luckily my lifestyle does not warrent me wering them!
I can't wear high heels anymore .My toes and insteps are very painful sometimes .
I'd look like a drunken Dick Emery tottering about in heels .
I have never ever been able to wear more than about a 2 inch, not even in my teen years.

I've been sitting outside most of the afternoon, it was so warm and quiet. There was the faint whiff of a barbie at one point but nothing close or strong.

Even in flat shoes I have times when it feels like I'm walking on a marble.
I put a spongy insole inside all my shoes.
I just got pains in my upper right arm and the mexico said it was the statins and took me off them; away went the pain. I never found out why I was on them as my cholesterol wasn't high. Below 200, in fact.

Nice walk today from Monument east past the Tower of London and poppies to Wapping. Nicely redeveloped area, lots of old yellowish-brick buildings still there but not an opium den to be seen. We wound up about where Captain Kidd was executed.
Sorry to hear about your painful feet shaney but cheers me up no end, same for me. 2" heel was about my limit, but only with straps as I have such a high instep, the shoes just fall off. I wish I could wear those nude plateform high heels, looks so glamorous.
When we were having coffee today a lady was there with the most divine dark red leather clogs. very padded with a little bit of a back and beautifully shiny. I really wanted to ask her where she got them but my friend is more retiring than i am and would never have forgiven me.
Please excuse typos, but apart from my bad typing, the laptop is playing up and going slowly.
I'm glad my poor old feet cheer you up Neti :)
Sounds like another lovely walk Jno. I'd love hobble down to see you and take part in a walk ,can you give me a piggyback ? ...lol.
I would have asked Woofy .I once asked a complete stranger in Morrisons as to where she had her hair cut .This was shortly after we moved here and I couldn't find a decent hairdresser for love or money and I was desperate .
So would I if I had been on my own but I didn't want to curl my friend up with embarrassment.

I'd just like to people watch from the window in my swish apartment in London :)

I'll ask people anything, lol. The last time anyone asked me was a nice lady at the shops who wanted to know where my shopping trolley was from. It was M&S but I don't think they do them now.
Lol Robinia ...
My old schoolfriend sent me a little glass ladybird she bought in the Canterbury cathedral shop and she said she hoped it would bring me luck. Since then we've won 22 quid on the lottery/euromillions.
So you never know .We may get a posh biddypad yet !
I'm off to catch up on Dallas (cheesey but I love it ) and to see what bon mots Maggie has for us tonight .
Have a nice evening folks.
Back in 1974 I was in a bar (where else) and a woman came in and asked where I had my hair cut, I didn't of course in those days, it was just long but with shorter bangs, but I trotted off with her to the nearest hairdresser and waited while they cut and styled her hair, of course it looked nothing like mine, I have thick straight hair, but she was happy enough, bless her, she was a German tourist, but it was a lovely compliment. I have been know to accost strange (usually young) men and ask what their aftershave is, cos I love aftershave and wear it when I am not wearing my room freshener (which by the way they now make in cologne for the discerning old peasant!- I still wear the room freshener!)

Going to meet a local lad tomorrow who is going to work in Dubai with hija, and he is taking over a few things for her. She is so glad she is there and really enjoying herself. Although they are not fully funtional they have soft openings for private people and the other day she served the grandson of the shiek of Abu Dabi, and instead of a tip he left a gold bottle of wine, he runs the wine business although he cannot actually drink it Well I said can you sell the bottle, and hija said no the restaurant is keeping it as an ornament. Hope all the tips are not so!

See, I read that as "dark red leather dogs". How chic, thought I. But it was just failing eyesight and an unhelpful typeface.
laughing Jno, The resident dog there is lovely but not red leather. I have no idea what breed, small brown and silky haired. His best thing in the world is something to carry in his mouth and the next best thing is saying hello to people.
Here you go Woofy ....clog heaven :)

Goodnight all .Sleep toight .
not there Shaney (sobs quietly)
Noooo :)
There are some nice shoes there though .
Doubt I would be able to walk in a semi backless clog though .I've got a lovely pair of Clarks clog type sandals with the low back but I can't keep 'em on my feet these days .I used to love the old Scholl clogs .Too hard on my tootsies these days .
