I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

A'noon...is everyone asleep or slaving over a hot dolly tub?

Fought my way past the doctor's rottweiler first thing who told me nothing available with my gp today and a lovely nurse called me back and said yes, you can see him. 1000 thanks for her. He's not overly concerned, doesn't feel anything serious is going on, take colofac and/or colpermin, blood test for coeliac, back in 2 weeks. The most infuriating thing is he would have given me some chill pills (as tarquin calls them) before the oscopy, he says that's where they're ok, short term. Hope he was channelling woofy and had a few words for Dr snotty. :)

Very cloudy but I think it's warmer outside than inside.

Thanks for the clogging jno but it arrived too late... I had to enlarge it, it's soooo like someone in the family, spooky.
well if you do need the flue pipe investigation at a later date, at least you know you could get the chill pills from nice doc. Excellent news to that is doesn't think its anything nasty. Did you "let him know" what nasty doc had said? i certainly would have done!
Question Author
woofy I told him I'd called the surgery for help, been refused and he asked who had I spoken to...it was there on the computer anyway. She has another string to her bow, she'd probably be best going down that road. He's been my official gp for 30 years, it's little wonder he's the most popular doctor at our surgery.
That sounds all good Robinia .I hope you feel more settled now .
It's very warm and muggy out there in spite of the mist .I was all hot and bothered by the time I got the hairdresser ,but the jam doughnut I bought on the way back was very nice .

It's gone a funny colour of dark here, but no rain or storms forecast.
Don't forget it's the last Cilla tonight.
ah, we have a private tour of the Orbit tomorrow, followed by lunch. I think this is part of my mistaken identity thing as a group tour organiser. I will try to look professional. Unfortunately, I just think it looks like an Eiffel Tower that failed

Then next day a few days in Berlin, though I seem to have picked on the cloudiest time to go.
saw this picture of a local celeb as we walked along the canal towards Camden Town

Good evening folks, sorry I've been busy, we had an appointment to go to San Jose to meet a local chap who is flying to same job in Dubai and is taking a few things for hija. I cleaned the house, chopped the branches from the algroba tree as they were hitting us in the face as we come up the steps, I asked Mr N, oh it's raining.. so I did it.

We had a lovely drive around the island and popped into the big lidl in San An, got some treats and a new sewing set, which oodles of different coloured spools and many pre wound bobbins, very pleased. Then we had lunch in the country and it stormed, thunder and lightning, when it eased off we came home, only to be confronted by the same storm, so I fell asleep.
ooo Jno, are you going all Cabarrrrret on us?
I'm not really sure what it was saying, woofgang. The artist is called Icarus, apparently, and there was another one of Bush and Blair being pulled into the canal.

I'm not surprised the storm chased you around, neti, it's probably chaos theory at work, the flap of a butterfly wing in the Amazon creates a storm on Ibiza, and it's the same if you go cutting algebra trees back
Evening all. Pleased you've seen the GP Robi. At least you know you can be helped before you go if you have to have the 'thingy' investigation again.
The weather really changed today. I nipped to Derby this afternoon and it was lovely. I wore short sleeves and cut offs. Then not long after I got home the heavens opened. It did save me watering my plants and the grass is looking really green again.
My back bedroom is now ready for decorating. My odd job man came and worked on it getting everything smooth and holes filled.
Tai Chi for me tomorrow the first time for about 4/5 weeks. Then we're going to a local pub that has had a make over so that will be interesting. It's a very old pub so it will have had to be in keeping with that. Doesn't want all modern stuff.
Thanks for reminding me about Cilla Robi. I had forgotten! I've really enjoyed it and Sheriden takes the part so well.
Hope you all have a good night. You shouldn't need the clog tonight Robi.

Jno, I was talking about your visit to Berlin. You have to watch it with those algebra trees...they are a bigger version of fractal bushes.

Morning...sunny and very damp after last night's deluge... ooh, it did rain Jude didn't it. It smelt lovely. No, no clogs required last night, in fact I nodded off and missed the last third of Cilla so I've got to catch up.

jno I like that sort of random art (and murals) ...I'll commision someone to do mine when I get that swish apartment :). I suppose it's showing the angels trying to save Amy and the devil creeping up and offering the bad things. I'm afraid I can't find anything attractive about that other pile of pipes though.
Enjoy your trip. I've got a couple of pieces of Berlin wall...they come in handy for bopping vine weevil on the head.

Look at this little chap shaney, how sweet is he...the yarn's a bit expensive, I'll consider it if it comes on offer. (I wonder if it doesn't take two entire balls & you can make two toys out of three balls?)

Neti I expect you still worry sometimes but you seem less stressed about hija.

Morning all, just having a coffee on village as the sun is out.

Yes Robi am fine with hija being away, in fact I quite like it, I chat every day and she is enjoying it. Several of her friends want jobs there now!
Morning all
Lovely bright day so far .We had a few drops of rain but nowt to write home about. On the news it says that this September had been the driest on record since 1910 .
I like the wall art Jno but I don't think you would get me clambering around that Orbit .Have a nice trip to Berlin.
Haha ,he's sweet Robinia .Bit of a nightmare if drop a stitch though :)
I'm looking for something to knit .I've still got lots of odd balls of wool.Socks again I suppose .
