aol & limewire

i used to have bulldog internet and downloaded music using limewire with no problems

now ive switched to aol and it says that limewire is not connected but then i click on file and the only option is disconnect so it is connected-why is this happening and how do i solve it? theres so many songs i want!!

are you giving limewire enough time to load fully? remember that aol is a browser as well as an isp so it is constantly sucking your cpu power and internet bandwidth.
failing here, i would suggest reinstalling limewire as your ip and proxy settings would have changed since changing isp.
failing here also, i would have to suggest hitting that disconnect buton and trying to reconnect. or try and use a proxy server to see if you are being blocked by aol.
