Has anyone tried this product yet, for writing DVDs using your cd writer, and if so, what do/did you think of it?.
Thanks.

never heard of it, but the fundamental physics of a cd writer don't allow it to burn accurately enough to burn a dvd

Thanks ugly_bob, semms conclisive, I have a dvd player, but not writer, found that on the web, seemed to good to be true, so I thought i'd as for opinions.
What you can certainly do is create a SVCD, which has quality between VHS and DVD (and probably on an average-sized TV you'll notice no difference between SVCD and DVD). You can convert a DVD to SVCD too, and hence do what this program says. However, the quality won't be as it claims, to be exactly the same as DVD.
