Outlook vs Yahoo account

I'm trying to access my yahoo account through my Outlook, but it's not showing me my inbox items. It worked fine for the Hotmail account and I can see my inbox. But it doesn't seem to like Yahoo. Help!

I think you need to be able to be using Yahoo's paid for email to be able to do this - at least this was the case before Yahoo went a bit mad and started offering 100MB of space. Maybe they're changed this too.

As far as I know their webmail doesn't have the POP3 and SMTP compatibility that you'd need. Search through their help section or google for more detailed info but mym suspicion is that you'll have to put your hand in your pocket and pay Yahoo OR use the webmail and endure all of their adverts. Either way they make some cash.
