Hi jno, did you have comfortable beds in the tents? Wonder if London is as cold as Stockholm, it says -17°C online, don't know if that's correct but it did feel like it today. Two guys were walking past me talking, don't know what about - tyres? - and I overheard one of them saying "...I thought they would last me another year, wasn't expecting another Idiot Winter" ha ha ha... Idiot Winter... I thought that was funny...

ooh, more lovely pics & woofy unveiled! You're not quite as I imagined but a bit like a lady I know who's very much an outdoorsy, big doggy owner type.
I think it's compulsory for all xmas trees to lean shaney, haha.

(I've been meaning to say folks that tinypic's been very slow to open & sometimes takes 2 or 3 attempts for me...is no one else having a problem with it? I always use imageshack when possible)

Welcome back to the big freeze jno, couldn't you have brought a warm breeze with you? Actually it's warmed up to minus 2 here & they've forecast a lovely big dollop of snow for the midlands...oh, I am beside myself with glee. And yes, it's very tiring, everything is so much harder, slower in this idiot weather. :o)

Tell me if you want me to make the hat more red or if you'd like to post some more photos for me to choose between and I'll continue tomorrow evening.

About TinyPic, it was a terrible nuisance for me a while back, I had to clear my cache for every upload - but that did help.

Kit that is a very sweet avatar. Robi, I know what you mean, I sometimes feel like that when i am out on my own and look up at the stars...then I think of all the other life forms doing the same thing, out early wherever they are with their equivalent of dogs and I feel quite close to them...isn't that silly?
The boys are out in the garden and about to get fed up and run in for breakfast, fingers crossed we will be out in the forest tomorrow.....

Morning all..well they were right with the weather, a good covering of the white stuff & it's still falling.
Poor Charlie's developed a strange 'twitch' for want of a better word. It's as if he watches something fly over his head to his left, only for a second, but he's as normal in every other way. Anyhoo, I've sought advice from a vet & she said it's probably another (minor) episode of what he had before & to monitor him. She understood perfectly that to take him out unnecessarily would only upset him but there'll be someone available all over xmas if anything worrying happens. That's a comfort, shame our own docs aren't always that reassuring.
