Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

oh be careful Robi...thinking can be dangerous....I got on with the sorting yesterday....managed to get quite a lot of my fabric collection in the new set of drawers and other stuff put away...phase two later on today. I don’t mind flying ants outside but draw the line at indoor visitations. I am hoping its going to be a low cockchafer year, have only had one or two so far. Snails now.....I have got a million of those.

I won't tell you what I've been thinking :)
Not a bad day,sunny on and off , bit stuffy though .
Been to doctor at the new merged surgery.Very nice too.Huge place though which you can easily get lost in and I did ...
Eventually found my GP who was wandering about looking for me and had to flash my leg and he gave me some cream for my scabby toes which have broken out from wearing that silly shoe which was synthetic and made me have a sweaty foot.
He's also going to do me a referral for an Xray on my hip.
Went to the library which is just next to the surgery and then across to the pharmacy and home.Everything within ten minutes hobbling.

I'm mortified really .I've never had anything like that in my life .
The bandage stuff had latex in it and the shoe had a synthetic nylony upper and as it was all across the tops of my toes all the time it made them sweat and break out in spite of washing my toes as thoroughly as I could . Hopefully the cream will clear it up. I don't want any more aggro :)

Morning all...they should rename this year as twenty frizzteen. Damp, breezy and dull but there's a hint of blue sky appearing. It's hedge cutting day so if he doesn't show up I may be thinking aloud today.

Oh dear shaney, one thing after another. Hope it heals up pdq. My sister's just been officially declared arthritic so I've been dishing out the sympathy....'Welcome to my world'....Get used to it'.... :)

Apart from all the news items I've managed to avoid every single minute of the footy. I didn't intend to watch the women's semi finals yesterday but I didn't feel like doing anything else. At least it won't be an all Williams final...

Afternoon all. It rained last night but Mr N managed to see the end of the footy. I thought of you shaney. Still its only a game isnt it?
We had a bad night. It wasn't so hot so air con was too cold, so am 3am I turned it off, so then we read til 5. I wanted to swim then as it had warmed up but thought of the rats and cockroaches that may have been scuttling about stopped me. Overcast this am but now rather warm. I was trimming the hedge and disturbed a wasps nest. I was only in a thing pareo so stood still until they settled then ran back to the house. Will spray it later.

Its Mr Ns birthday day. He came home from work early so Hija could give him her presents and we all had a bit of flaon cake which he had instead of a birthday cake. He had a couple of pairs of shoes and lots of chox and several other little things. He doesn't do birthdays but we do!!
