Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Nice to see you Jude and pleased to hear you feel better .I wouldn't pin all your hopes on the nice sunny summer though.It's been piddling down here on and off all day and more of the same tomorrow by the look of it
Can't help you there Woofy .I never drink coke and rarely drink coffee of an afternoon anymore.I've cut my coffee consumption drastically and try to have only one cup mid morning and drink tick tock tea now if I have any tea afternoons and evenings.I do need ordinary tea first thing though.
I'm off to scour the bedroom for buzzing insects before I turn in.

Good afternoon folks! Hot hot hot! I overslept and had to rush through morning chores to make it on time for an appointment to collect money for Mr N. I have to do my chores however late I am. Am fed up with washing the steps every 5 mins to clean the dripping algroba bean juice. I had 3 coffees so am zooming, but I usually zoom, anyway. Finally I got my little step out and put it on the steps, put on an old dress and a shower cap and knocked the rancid algroba beans off the tree, was covered in bits and ants so jumped carefully one foot at a time into the pool to get rid of the marauders. Job well done. There Red lots more beans but not in my way!

Hello all
Another stuffy day .They keep threatening torrential rain but it hasn't happened yet.
I've been discharged from the clinic .Whoopee! Just a follow up phone call in 3 weeks and I must obey all the instructions I've been given.I took them in a box of chocs each as they've been so nice to me.They really are a credit to the NHS.
Otherwise nowt doing .Hope you're all ok .Steady on there Neti, you'll be buying a gardening book soon :)

I've had an email from Petitions uk government saying that because of the overwhelming response to an online petition to the referendum, the House of Commons will discuss it on Sept 5 at 4.30. They cannot overrule the decision but can decide whether there will be a second referendum. Well that is roughly what it says. Nothing will change though.

It's cooled down considerably here so better for sleeping whch is where I'm off to,to stretch out with my book .
Norfolk Libraries have revamped their website .I can now see my previous loans from Jan 2014 up to the present time and I've read 269 books during that period.God knows how many books I've read during my life so far then. My Mum used to say I was a bookworm ..lol
