last time I was there which is approx 3 years ago a decent executive car was in the region of $ 500-600 dollars for the fortnight

My guess is around �400 - 500 inclusive of insurance, etc.

Try Holiday Autos and Auto Europe as well as the hire companies direct. Remember the latter, particularly in the US, may not include insurance so will appear cheap until it's added on.
