Hereford is a town so it must be Heref i guess

I'd have said Herefs though Heref seems to be the 'official' version, in as far as there is one.

You are not reading it right Norris. Hereford. is an abbreviation (as indicated by the .). Unfortunately this also looks like the town which doesn't help!

As I said the other day... it's Hfds. I've lived in Hereford since 1980 - but now divide my time between there and Spain.
