ANOTHOLDGIT since you have already said that you did not say there were more accidents, why is it that there seems to be more of them?
You may have found my contribution hilarious but that is down to your lack of understanding of my point. The number of ambulances on the road had not increased but my parents being in hospital made me more AWARE of the ambulances being on the road since both had been rushed to hospital in ambulances due to the nature of their conditions at the time.

if you have lots of something ( flights that is ) and a small chance of going wrong ( small small small - one in a million like ) then the statistical model to use is Poission ( soo named as it was first described by Borochowski to model deaths by kicks to the head in the Imperial stables 1875 - 1890 )
