I'm having difficulty sweeping the flue liner in a multi fuel wood burning stove.
It has a 6 inch to 5 inch adapter and has a sweeping bend with rear exit.
The brush (5") which has a ball fitted, to guide the brush.

Trouble is, we are having trouble getting the brush to go up and beyond the point where the adapter is fitted.
Any practical advice offered will be appreciated.

can you go in from the back .kind of thing ?
My mum used to clean the chimney using newspaper. Once it had ignited the fire brigade finished the job.

Not possible minty, the flue is accessed through the door at the front of the stove.
Thanks.

Sounds a bit drastic, Wolfie.
I am not saying that i am old but I had to climb up the chimney in my young days(joke)
Only thing I can think of if you able to is to sweep it from the roof down but you will need to remove the cowl if one is fitted and cover the fireplace with a dust sheet
Why not engage a professional chimney sweep?
Diddly that was going to my final suggestion if OP didn't reply
