Seems like I have ruffled some feathers with the racing fraternity on here,so yes I will winge on my own thread rather than intrude on theres, horses are beautiful animals and maybe they love to race but can’t believe it myself but to see them whipped and soaking in sweat to give excitement to upper class chinless wonders it not right to treat those beautiful animals like this

They don't love to race. Even those who love racing will tell you that horses run because the prey fear is awakened. The bloodstock INDUSTRY is a cold and unthinking organisation . Go and google what happens to racing failures and horses too old to race.

Sitting on my hands on the racing front but just have to weigh in (see what I did there?) on the puppies and kittens - after weaning the mothers are quite accepting of them leaving home and given the opportunity mother dogs will quickly jump out of the puppy pen to get away from the sharp needle teeth and scratchy claws. I am talking here about well bred and reared dogs - not puppy farmed ones where they are taken from their mothers often before being fully weaned but that is because people insist on still buying from pet shops or online without seeing the mums, so the demand is filled by the puppy farmers with no thought for the poor babies or their mums and definitely no thought for the families who end up with a very poorly adjusted and often sick or dying pets.
