Mixed up Books. Questions comprise a scrambled title, initials of author and number of words in title. I have done most, but need help with two. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Pottery Questions. These are cryptic clues to either a pottery manufacturer or a well-known type of ware.
Q.4. English porcelain from the east, early but certainly not the highest.
Q.8. Comes from the confused requisites of a learned person.
Numbers of letters in the answers are not given. As before any help will be greatly appreciated.
