Can anyone suggest something to lessen the pain in a finger that is diagnosed as above?
Most of the others have had the same problem but the pain in them disappeared after a some time
but this one is dragging on.
Thank you

Certainly......start off by taking Ibuprofen 400mgms as required up to every 4 hours if necessary. If this works then "juggle" with the dose that keeps your finger pain free. if it doesn't work then get back to us or see your GP.
If Ibuprofen isn't strong enough, ask your GP for Etoricoxib.

Are you on any DMARDs or Biologics?

Thanks Quad....This is for my wife and unfortunately the chemist said she couldn'n take Ibuprofen tablets because of other medication that she takes.
Well I would have to know what "other" medication that she is on before i agreed with the advice of the "chemist."
In the meantime indomethacin would be a satisfactory alternative.
