Seems to be getting worse. Raheem Sterling, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have all been racially abused on Twitter, and now Romalu Lukaku subjected to monkey vhants by Calgiari fans after scoring against them for Inter Milan.

What are your thoughts on this? Is it that society hasn't moved on since the 70's, social media to blame or should the players have thicker skins?

Neither, the perpetrators are to blame. Everyone gets a forum though.

Of course, but what makes a person believe this is acceptable? There's no real anonymity on social media if tweets or posts are reported to the authorities. Would they do that in person?
