I bought a couple chorizos, a load of frozen broccoli and a load of paella rice and a load of veg stock because it all seems to last ages so I don't need to leave the house for a while. (I already have other stuff in)
Seems with this coronavirus i've done more cooking from home than I normally would. Although I do home cook regularly.
I got just the one the other day, before lockdown. I didn't realise but it's spicy! It had the same packaging and everything. My mouth didn't notice but my Miss' surely did (she finds pepper spicy). However, i could definitely tell this morning! Trust me.
It lasts for ages sealed or unsealed.I always keep a couple of rounds in the freezer.. If it isn't specifically cooking chorizo I always peel the papery skin off them before cooking them though it's not imperative.

It appears to be the normal chorizo as used in antipasti and Tapas, i.e. eaten mostly cold. I use it to cook with because (a) it is cheaper and (b) Cooking chorizo is like hen's teeth to find in some shops and supermarkets
Also, it's nice when it's already cooked so you can just cook it how you like, or dash it in the end of a meal without worrying about it giving you an upset stomach.
