Petrol Shortages

Just had an email from a friend to say her usual garage had no unleaded petrol today. Are people panic buying or is this the situation all over?

Lemmings! How stupid - the fuel normally available at garages will be lying in people's full tanks. Panic buyers are CREATING the shortage.

There should be plenty about when I come to fill up in a week or so as all of these that are panic buying won't have anywhere to stash anymore fuel. Probably no queue either. A win win.

I went to 4 different petrol stations this morning just to get a can of petrol for the lawnmower. 2 were out of fuel and 2 were turning people away.

I guess the grass will just have to grow until the panic subsides.

Can’t help thinking how Nicola S. (Future Queen of Scots) will solve all the problems with an Independent Scotland- despite the problem lists growing by the day. But then, she can always fall back on the British? Army sorting most things out. Personally, I can’t wait for IR2. If it succeeds- I’m off to Berwick-On-Tweed! (If they’ll have me)
