Covid New Variants / Strains
We are being urged(including a new ad campaign ) to have the covid booster to counter the Omicron variant
It's likely that there will be new variants down the line that will require new vaccines .
So are we destined for a life ,for the foreseeable future of having to have constant jabs ?

Let's restrict it to just the vaccinated/unvaccinated debate then, jourdain, as a wider debate is perhaps outside the scope of this question. There are 8,000 Covid patients in hospital. Let's use a lower estimate and suggest 75% of them are unvaccinated - that's 6,000. Let's be further generous and say that half of them would have ended up in hospital whether they were jabbed or not. That leaves 3,000 people in hospital who would not be there if they had been vaccinated. One of those beds could be used to treat my neighbour who has effectively been sent home with a real threat of dying before she is treated. So if you were prioritising the treatment between my neighbour and an anti-vaxxer (a prioritisation which in fact has already been done, not in my neighbour's favour) who do you think should be chosen for treatment?

More vaccinated people in hospital than unvaccinated for obvious reasons. All the statistics supported this glaringly obvious fact until the NHE, or whatever they're calling themselves this week, quite openly put their finger on the scales. (age adjusted data)
Mmm, why would they do this. Very simple, I'll explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
The Gov. sold you these vaccines a long time before they were developed. Just another one, just another little lockdown, put your masks back on and hide, you know we have to save r NHS.
As soon as we get the vaccines, you'll all be free. Life will go back to normal.
I'm sure it's dawned on even the most gullible of you by now, you've been sold a pup. You must be so angry with the Gov. the BBC, the scientists for the constant stream of lies they've been feeding you.
But you're not. By the simple expedient of 'weighting' the evidence and a few more well placed lies, everyone is attacking the people who chose not to have the vaccine and the people who should be under attack are walking away scot free while laughing up their sleeves at you lot.
Vaccines give immunity from disease. That's the definition and it's what they promised you. Get angry with them not us.

Care to provide us with a link to those figures ?
All the links I and others have provided so far suggest that roughly 80 percent of those in hospital are unvaccinated
Go back and look at the one I provided with the itu professor then get back to us with your evidence
In short : put up or shut up
It really is that easy

I prostrate myself before your genius, Professor Sticky.
But there's no point in me looking for Data that no longer exists.
It said one thing one day and the opposite the next when they 'adjusted' the Data.
And do try to keep a civil tongue in your head when talking to me.
I mean, it's not as if there's no room for it.

In November there was more vaccinated patients in ICU than unvaccinated.
Another linkless assumption and 100 percent incorrect post
Are you gulliver in disguise ?
Thanks to ichkeria for that link which more than backs up what is fact
You have got to let it go royfromaus
You were caught out the other day on a thread
This time it appears to be with your pants down ! Lol

As I pointed out on the Covid passports thread the main reason for cancer treatments being stopped is because the majority of itu beds that would normally be filled by post op cancer patients are instead filled by unvaccinated patients

Well seeing as how the itu professor said so in that link and up to 90 percent of itu patients are currently unvaccinated as shown from other sources and links I would reckon so
Or have you got a link to an anti vaxxer with evidence to the contrary ?
Note : you cannot count yourself as a source

N.J 23.00 I respect you and your thinking very much - you are right of course --- but I am also right, so there is an undreamed-of clash of rights.
I take your point entirely. OH has not had a proper heart check-up for nearly 3 years now. Not only that, but a chap in the village (Sam), who had had a minor cancer 20 years ago and recovered from it, broke his arm a couple of months ago and on going to A&E for an X-ray received the diagnosis that he had untreatable, terminal bone cancer. We buried him 11 days ago. He was 59.
So we have a situation in which the NHS simply needs to expand to cope. What happened to the 'Nightingale' hospitals, which could have coped with all the convalescent, bed-blocking patients and freed up the staff?
It's not a simple either/or - it's a root and branch reform that is needed i.m.o..
