A male mate has found his face getting chubbier in these his middle-age years, yet the rest of him is in reasonable shape and he exercises a good amount. He asks if there's anything he can do to slim his face down, or does the human body not work that way?
The one and only time I went on a diet about 15 years ago (more about proving a point really) I lost a lot of weight from my face, I was starting to look ill, I lost weight all over but more noticeable on my face. However, you dont get any choice as to where the fat will come off first.
OK, re-reading that sounds quite odd, I didnt actually lose a lot of weight from my face!! My face started to look drawn and hollow very quickly, weight wise, probably just a few ounces. lol
Try a really hot sauna whilst slapping yourself hard across the face to tone the muscles then a really cold shower- aside from it amusing me that you might actually do it, it does work;-)
