Does anyone ponder why so many British passport holding Sudanese are in Sudan?
One chap on the front page of today's Telegraph is weeping because he had left his wife & son there when he boarded the plane.

He is described as a taxi-driver; I was wondering how a British taxi-driver can afford the time & money to take his family for a visit to Sudan, - any ideas please?
fender62 19:20 well said mate exactly my thoughts on the matter,
when are the snowflakes going to realise when people are take the mick out of our country.
Is Sudanese farming, (surely subsistence level?) vis-à-vis British taxi-driving a great career move?
no water in short
On hols a few weeks ago Luxor, and a taxi driver outside the hotel engaged us in a Yorkshire accent. Hospital care worker and it obviously hadnt worked out....
I seen one of the stranded regs I met in A+E in Manch.
Neighbour in with haemoptysis - white triage nurse said - so what it is only little
I said you're joking
the white SHO screamed - - -- TTTTTTTT - BBBBBBB!
The tall lanky foreign doctor lopped past and I said
صباح الخير دكتور هل انت بخير؟
and he loped further....and saved another life
I later said ( after admission) - you are sudanese arent you? ( his habitus was tall and lanky and you get let sun in a hot climes compared to mr blobby) and he said " yes I heard you speak arabic but I thought I must be hallucinating so I ignored you"
and I said - you have seen a lot of TB in the Sudan: this isnt a case is it?
and he said 'No, it isnt'
