Good. He can do what he likes now. As long as he stays away from public office I wish him well. If he shows up at the house of Lords to take taxpayers money for making jovial speeches I'll start to dislike him again.

No one thinks it has been a success." - well leaving aside the obvious fact that there is no way to evaluate brexit because of various crises that have obscured the remoaners obsession; Economics. As I and the judge have been saying for ever, we hoped to be out of the EUSSR that is the only thing we "hoped for" so I am 100% satisfied. What else is there?

As I understand it Johnson was given the courtesy of advance notice of the findings of the committee and it was clear he’d be suspended for more than 10 days. This might have triggered a by-election: so he has left Parliament of his own accord while complaining he’s being hounded out.
All this is disastrous for the Conservative Party which appears to be descending into civil war over the personality of one man when they should be directing themselves to governing and targeting the opposition.
They’ll be heavily punished, you feel, by the majority of voters who are less interested in Johnson’s career but just see rats in a sack savaging each other.
