My little female cat recently shocked me by "spraying" against the fence in our garden? I thought it was only toms that did this!! We have had her a year (she is now 2) and is neutered. Any idea why she would do this?

Hi shazrla, She's only marking her territory - it's quite normal. cheers skylight

Thanks skylight never knew females did that!
Cats tend to do this when they sense a challenge so it may be that another cat is trying to move in on your garden. Lots of extra cuddles until they sort it out!
