Call a General ElectionI would like there to be another General Election.I believe the current Labour Government have gone back on the promises they laid out in the lead up to the last election.

392,000 already, it there should now be a debate

I am encouraged that labour supporters like 10cs have acknowledged the disaster that has befallen the nation. Yes a freak result has occurred in our system that does allow that. The fact that Starmer can have fewer votes than Corbyn in 2019 and yet have a huge majority should indicate to all but the dimmest that an anomoly has occured.

The gap between petition signing and actually voting when the chance arises is an issue.

Always an excuse for not peeling oneself off the couch to go and make a mark.

That may be so, curlyfries,  but signing this petition won't change a thing. It's an exercise in futility. Only the Government of the day can call a GE and they won't be doing that anytime soon.

If it does nothing else it will demonstrate the level of dissatisfaction in the government to the government - and that in itself is a worthwhile exercise.

I have never seen a petition garner so many signatures so rapidly. It's is going up by hundreds every few seconds.
