Biddybank suggestion

Yesterdfay someone suggested that us oldies lived in an Old Folks Home - now that to me is a brilliant idea for the Biddybank. I can see Vinny whittling on the door step (or would that be the stoop Ed ) Dear smudge gently rocking on the veranda knitting , I am desperately trying to imagine me as Scarlett O'Hara but all that comes to mind is Granny Clampett. so Robinia and I will tuck our aprons into our waistbands and race up and down in our bath chairs. Good or what????

neti I'm sitting here with my shopping trolley packed - I've got my tartan slippers, After Eights, that candlewick dressing gown I've keep for emergencies since 1963 & Brideshead Revisited dvds. Oh & a bottle of whiskey...how did that get there? I don't like whiskey. Do you think it'll work as a bribe for the Ed?

Well I am Netti ! This morning I have managed to lose my door keys only to find them again after lots of rummaging through coat pockets and handbag,my drier has gone on the blink,I have broken a cup and left my shopping list in it's usual place (on the kitchen table) only to stand in Somerfields wondering what on earth it was I wanted !!Took my library book to change on the way and walked straight past the library and brought it home with me again.Surely I must qualify for a bath chair soon!

Robi and shaneystar you have made me laugh - teeth flying out. I've done some really worrying things today but worse of all is I cannot remember what they are. Oh yes, after walking almost to the village I remembered that my money was still in other handbag so had to amble back. I have also noticed that I take my handbag with me around the house and park it by my armchair and I hate that in old women. Whatever next????
