Weird but why?

Today at work is going really slowly even though I am actually busy, I've just said to my colleagues that it feels like a long day today and they all agreed.
I've noticed this before if the day goes quickly my colleagues also feel that it has too, no one ever says they feel the opposite......so why is this?

time and space are on the same level, like a video cassette tape, the tape being time and whatever is recorded on it is space, or vica verca, everything and everyone in the universe is on the tape and part of the recording, with me so far? if everyone experiences time going quickly/slowly at the same time, then the universe is in order, but, if there is a "blip" in the tape, like when your tracking goes on your video recorder, then this causes a rip, or tear in the cassette which in turn will make the entire universe to implode in on itself until it is the size of a matchbox, ending the space/time continuation.
But no need to worry, this is only due to happen when Answerbanks Body + soul catagory reaches question number 22559

We see colours, hear sounds and feel textures. Some aspects of the world, it seems, are perceived through a particular sense. Others, like shape, are perceived through more than one sense. But do we have specific sense or senses do we use when perceiving time?
It is certainly not associated with one particular sense. In fact, it seems odd to say that we see, hear or touch time passing. And indeed, even if all our senses were prevented from functioning for a while, we could still notice the passing of time through the changing pattern of our thought. Perhaps, then, we have a special faculty, distinct from the five senses, for detecting time. Or perhaps, as seems more likely, we notice time through perception of other things, including people suggesting to us that time has dragged or that time has flown.
Logic dictates that our temporal perception differs from our spatial perception. We can look at something and see how near or far it is, or indeed how quickly it passes by. Yet with time we often require the spatial to determine and process the temporal. Most often a clock or watch, historically the hours of sun-light and as in the cases you suggest by events or methodical processes which we assume to believe take a specified amount of time, ergo, if we do them quicker or slower then this alters time respectively.
Because you are busy, your perception is that time has flown, simply because you believe that a lot of time must have passed. In reality it hasnt, time is constant and is immemorial, it is only your temporal perception which is confused and restrained by your time-thought perceptions.

Hi Ray how are you, nice to see you so to speak!
Confused - that experiment was really interesting but I my theory about this is that in the event of danger time doesn't pass slowly but you process information faster to enable you to escape the dangerous situation - nature giving you more time to think so to speak.
The real puzzle to me is why everyone else also percieves time to be pasing slowly or quickly. I think I get what John and Octavius are saying but I need to read it through a couple more times to process the info lol!
