it does carry risk of STD and some bugs. Also tearing of the anus can cause pain and discomfort from some time afterwards apparently.

Condoms are wise to prevent some transmission of bugs but also a lubricant safe for use with condoms is also required.

If do do it without a condom don't then put it in the vagina as this can cause an infection..
I have found most women have tried anal and would do it again.
As long as you use lots of lubricant and he is gentle you will be ok..

and I have found that for some strange reason it is men more than women who want to do it. There aren't a lot of nerve endings in the anus, unlike the vagina, so the pleasure to be had is of a fairly limited kind for females.

Unfortunately many young people, and I am one of them, feel so invincible that even if you've had sex ed, in the heat of the moment you think - i'll be fine - then when something bad happens, infection, pregnancy, you'd chop off your arms and legs just to rewind and go back to that moment and use a condom but of course you can't change the past.
