Immobiliser on a peugoet 106

I can't get the immobilser to switch off in my M reg 106, the light on the keyfob is lighting up but it no longer works the central locking or turns off my immobliser and I'm stranded..anyone got any ideas ?

Peugeot 206 - gear stick gone loose

volvo s40 side lights wont work independently from main lights

Did you by any chance leave your lights on? If yes. Battery.

No its been playing up for a while, taking longer and longer to go off using the keyfob :( driving me nuts! am thinking maybe change the batteries in the fob but also someone suggested reprogramming it but I cant find anything helpful anywhere

Give that a try, clean the contacts in the fob.
