movement at 23 weeks

hi everyone
im a little bit worried, i havent felt my baby move since yesterday when usually she moves around lunch time and in the evening, is this normal? i dont want to sound too silly but she is my first baby and i am a bit worried, i have a midwife appointment tomorrow so will find out then if everything is ok but just want a bit more info as im a bit impatient

Hi Nicola,
At 23 weeks its very likely that she is kicking another part of you that you cant feel.
But obviously mums worry so try this
Have a cold drink, coke or something if you can, and go and lay down quietly or sit still and calm for a little while, see if the sugar rush can get her wriggling

If she still quiet then it wont be any bother if you call your midwife for advice

i know, we all worry, and i hate to say it gets worse once they are born lol

if youre not going to have much chance to lay down quietly then perhaps a call to your midwife will reassure you or advice on next step

im sure it will get worse as they get older, i really dont want to be too overprotective but i think i might just be lol

How did you get on? did she start moving as soon as you spoke to someone?

I'm almost 22 weeks pregnant and not sure if I feel anything significant yet. I don't know what your build is, but I wouldn't say I'm skinny and they say thin people feel the movements moreso than larger ladies. I know it's very worrying, I also get worried.

When is your baby due Nicola?

Your little baby is just sleeping in a new position, your midwife will confirm this, I bet she has already given you a good kick!

yep u guessed it, she started moving just before my appointment, shes being naughty already lol heard her heartbeat it was "nice and strong"
