Capital Punishment

Should it be reintroduced for those found guilty of crimes like that guy who stabbed a man because he complained about him throwing chips at his girlfriend.

I don't usually post on these sort of current topics in fear of being shouted down .I am anti capital punishment as I think we have a bad record concerning hanging possibly innocent people.
EG Bentley ,Evans We used to hang people for stealing a loaf of bread..However I think that if someone takes a life they should pay with a life.If it can be proven 100% that someone has committed murder than they should be put away for the rest of their life Life imprisonment with no privileges.I think our judicial system is badly in need of radical reform.

The cost to keep a average prisoner in jail is �36000 per year. For that money you could employ 2 police offers on starting level 1.

As said before Evans & co were in the days before dna/cctc.
