The populace aren't much better. Saw a BBC documentary some years ago about an Afghan village, showing how justice was meted out to people who broke the law. Stonings,hangings & be-headings were discussed with the local executioner. He made sure that the victims died as painfully & slowly as possible.
He was very proud that he had executed a Russian prisoner of war by cutting his skin around his stomach,he then pulled it up his body to cover his head, then the poor bloke suffocated to death.
This country lives in the 13th century, I believe.

(Not to make light of the original post about the 7 year old boy - but carrust - that guy you talked of must have had one big stomach.... or lots of flabby stomach skin from where he probably lost weight in the camp).

Whilst this is appalling if it is indeed true. It's another's countries rules and laws. Who are we to meddle in how they deal with things?

Back to the 7 year old boy - sqad made a very good point on page 1. What would you do when faced with a small child coming towards you who you know had been packed with explosives and used as a 'bomb' mule or whatever it's called. A dilemma indeed - kill the lad or see countless others get blown to bits?
