This is crofter, writing to you from the croft which I being drenched in rain and hoping for better weather tomorrow afternoon so that I can get out the BBQ! I have tidied up the garden as best I can ~ but it will take a couple of seasons to get it back to how I like it. Perhaps I am being obsessive regarding weeding, but we are what we are. If it does rain tomorrow, we can resort to Plan B (whatever that is)!

Last week was the fourth round in the reign of “King John” (aka rockfordill): setter of the MM Links, and once again he set an interesting challenge with a healthy number of points on offer. His game is now poised for an exciting conclusion. With ex-champion Aquagility running rampant, I shall be looking over his shoulder for some promising new developing talent to lead us into August.

OK Jan, although she won't listen to me!!
So sorry I will not be with you tomorrow, but am in Devon (and it has been sunny all week until tonight) having a lovely time with my family who live down here. Am going home on Monday by train, complete with luggage and one dog so watch out Birmingham New St Station, where I have to change trains !!!!
Have a wonderful day at the AGM, will look forward to hearing all about it !!!
Just popped on here to say I hope you all have fun tomorrow, have a drink on my behalf and as for rain......we used to have a lot of that but havent had any in weeks
I have been interrupted with phone calls from family! How dare they on a Friday night!!
You can all have some of our rain, because clearly the authorities don't know how to keep it!
Alibobs...I am coming to live near you!...or maybe squat!
I need to get here a bit earlier don't I !?
Hello to my good linking friends :)

I have included a link to a place where a few bits of writing ' what I have writted loike ' reside . I think the term is a blog - I am not keen on that word and it is certainly not a blog in the diary sense.

If any of you liked it enough to become a ' follower ' of the blog , I would be most honoured and delighted ! :)

Description:
Good morning ShamrockBlue - lovely to see you again. I don't think it matters what time one posts, there's always someone around, even if, like me, we're on the other side of the world.

I've just come on to post the clues from today's DT GK for the KM Linkers - and Kate is keeping us all on the hop with her matches, but then, it keeps us off the streets !!! lol !!!

All the best to you and no doubt there'll be an avalanche on your 'not blog' - don't care for the term much myself, but then we all know what it means cheers, Skz
Hello Seekeerz :) Lovely to see you too, So many names and characters I recognise still !
Great that you are still taking care of business for the KM Links , you must be due a Gold Watch soon !

yes, getting on that way !! or does one never retire in Ab/land ??

Luckily KM fits into our lifestyle very easily and I have a couple of very valued helpers in the UK who will stand in when my computer crashes or a similar disaster occurs, but try explaining what I do to someone who does not belong to AB - I get some very strange looks !!

Take care, and I hope to see you again - Steff xx
I'd meant to look in, but by 2130 I was lulled into oblivion upon the bosom of the deep.

Good luck with the weather, Crofter. But suggested Plan B - hand out oilskins and set them all to weeding.
twix, my thoughts entirely - which bit of Kent are you in? I'm in Dover - our garden currently has palms, oleanders, a kiwi fruit - we got rid of the grass and we have plants which remind us of our travels. Minimal watering, bit of trimming - excellent stuff.
Hi Pauline, sorry just catching up with the rest of the post - I left early last night, too tired after a long week to stay awake. Good to meet up, some of the ladies on CB are meeting up in Birmingham today.... but I'm in the furthest corner of Kent, so have to travel to get anywhere - Calais is nearer for us than most of the rest of England!
Sorry, I lost my connection last night!
Just catching up.
Good to 'see' you all..
