Bobjugs12 you cannot compare what Huntley did to a Stockbroker who committed fraud or to someone jailed for non payment of council tax. That is one of the most ludicrous statements I have ever read. The man murdered two young girls and should rot in jail. Best thing he could do is top himself and save us thousands upon thousands of pounds in taxpayer's money.
D_James, thats exactly the point I am making. The crimes do vary with regards to severity, but breaking the law is still breaking the law.
You have brought emotion into a judgement that has to be made based on logic. Is the murder of a child in one set of circumstances any better or worse than the murder of a child in another set of circumstances.
I don't agree Bob...breaking the law isn't just breaking the law. That's why we have Cat AA, Cat A, Cat B....etc..prisons.

Huntley shares a prison with the most hardened criminals because of the nature of his crime. The granny who doesn't pay her council tax would not be sent to such a prison.
I always find it funny when retards get to have an opinion on prisons! They can make statments along the lines of "Huntley deserves what he gets in prison" yes its always good to encourage hardened criminals to have a sense of 'justice' against other criminals!

"Oi huntley! you murdered children your sick! I only raped a girl but i at least left her alive! I get to have the moral high ground, lets fight!!"

Some people are so stupid they dont deserve to have an opinion!
Surely he wont win his case. For a start, when and where is he going to spend the money ? Will he give it to the families who only received £11,000 for the death of their chilld
How can he sue the prison for not protecting him? Im surprised he didnt sue the police for not protecting those young girls which resulted in him being able to murder them !!!! The worlds gone mad
Sherminator makes an excellent point, why is it an armed bank robber should get "respect" in prison?
You shove a gun in someone's face, terrify them, they think they could get killed, but, they're in some way better than the rest.
They're all scum, and should be treated the same, which (as we're not scum) is humanely.
Thank you Everton! This thread is full of idiotic opinions so rashly thought out its no wonder the country is in such a mess!

Then when you do have the audacity to show them their blatant logic fails you get labelled a huntley sympathiser???? What The Funicular?
Murdering children and paepdhilia are considered the two worst crimes I'm afraid. As adult human beings we have the instinct to protect the young. Even bank robbers would try to protect their kids.....that's why the likes of Huntley are the bottom of the barrel.

You only have to look at the images of live aid.....it was the children that pulled at your heart strings more than the adults even though they were going through the same suffering.

It's something that is inbuilt in us.....
