I am not a christian, so it does not offend me. And I do hear the expressions in everyday speech.

So is it offensive, anti-christian and blasphemous, or is this clergyman over sensitive?

I think Clarkson's only really being blasphemous if he believes in god, which I doubt he does.

If he's not a christian, then he can break any of the rules of christianity he likes because they don't apply to him.
