Don't understand how "it's all about me" fits an explanation of why someone explains the reason for their own pseudonym. Maybe that's just me ! Glad I haven't been invited, directly or indirectly, to make such an explanation of, or comment on, my own pseudonym. Mind, mine would be all about a dog, so it might escape censure. We like dogs on here.

That's not how the AB works AOG - anyone is free to join in on any thread and make any observation they like - subject to the rules - it has always bee thus.

If you wish to communicate with someone individually, and not for the general sight and response of the AB members, you will need to use Twitter, Facebook, or e-mail.

Gromit - you have solidified some thoughts I was having last night.

Specifically, the last few of my posts have been designed to bait AOG, an attitude of which i am not proud, and on reflection I would wish to recind.

Therefore, in the spirit of proper adult debate, I would like to offer my sincere apologies to AOG for my inappropriate provocations and somewhat high-handed attitude regarding his original humourous post.

Knowing AOG as a gentleman, I am sure he will accept my apology in the spirit it is offered, and we can continue to debate vigourously, but without recourse to unpleasant sniping.
