There's a technological mix up in your question.

There's a difference between bookmarking a website (also known on some browsers as making it a 'Favourite' and what Jack Dromey did.

In a Twitter feed, you can quite easily 'favourite' a comment, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you've ever gone near the website in question. The vast majority of Twitter users access the site via a mobile platform (I think it's around 80% of users). As you're looking at feeds from your mobile phone or possibly tablet, it's quite feasible to accidentally 'favourite' an item, and not know what you've done.

That's a world away from deliberately searching for a site and going to the link.

Twitter is one thing.

Websites is another.
