If it rains and your washing on the line gets wet do you wash it over again or do you just let it dry as it is?

Just in case of......what? The only hang up I can see is the washing being wetter than when you put it out and will consequently take longer to dry.

The rain water is a natural conditioner, the washing will never be as soft as it is after a shower.

I live in semi rural right next to open countryside. if you think rainwater is the fresh sweet stuff of poetry you clearly don't look at your car after it's been rained on. It's full of dust etc.
Sometimes leaves sand spots on my car.

Yeah, that's the stuff. Usually summer rain.
I get sand blown into my living room when windows are closed.

I do too much washing to be re-washing it, it won't harm.

'She who must be obeyed' says if it is soaked rinse and spin back out. If it is just a shower, use the rack, or airing cupboard for smalls. So that's what I do.

For me hanging out the washing is a bit like stuffing mushrooms......I get bored easily so if it can it goes into the tumbler.....few bits hang in the utility room.... and I do something else....xx

This could make you too busy to go to work!
First floor flat, stairs down to garden from washing machine are steep concrete and slippery. Not safe to carry down basket of washing.
Either draped around various radiators or bunged in tumble drier.
