Car creaking sound when pulling away?

My car has developed a creaking sound when pulling away in 1st gear. It sometimes does it when changing up the gears but not as loud or for as long as from take off. i am guessing its something to do...

Tax problem, not sure what to do.

My car is booked in on Friday for an MOT but the car has been off the road for a while, I removed the tax disc from the car as it only had a week or so left on it and I was not going to be driving it...

I failed my driving test, 2 minors and 1 serious, a guy let me pull out from side of road then changed his mind and I had to brake hard! :-( thanks for all the support earlier on. i'll be back later....

Why is a 14mm SP socket not the same diameter (as in 14mm) as a normal 14mm socket? Is it the same with all sockets, are they proportionally bigger? what for?
