add / remove programs

i want to remove a program called "download accelerator plus" and also one or two other programs but they do not appear in the Add/remove programs list What can i do please?

I have a friend who occcasionally sends me a music file via E-Mail. If the title of the file has an '&' in it it comes up as a document file.Why is this. I am running Windows XP.

No sound... no audio driver detected.

My pc is saying that i have no audio driver... so im getting no sound coming out off my PC... ive tried everything! the audio driver i used to have (b4 it went missing) was called 'Realtek AC97'......
