about my vauxhall corsa

i put a new fuel tank in my corsa diesel 1.7 tryed to start it but it wont start up bleed the tank for any air blocages but still no joy can any one help

When should I change Gear?

I am used to driving cars with 1.1 or 1.2 engines - I am now driving a 1.8 and I am not sure at what speeds I should change into which gear. I KNOW it sounds stupid but if you dont know you dont know!
