ADSL problem

I've got two PCs (XP prof) LANned via an Ethernet switch. I'm on broadband (ADSL). One PC connects with no problems. The other is behaving erratically. Sometimes it connects nicely and all works well...

tiscali log out

A neighbour has Tiscali Broadband, but it seems to log out after ten minutes inactivity (eg when typing a long e-mail). Is there any way this log out time can be extended.?
