Perhaps the right time to do a poll on how we would vote? Personally I dont think canvassing or csmpsigns will make any difference. We are all pretty sure of our intentions!

That may have been your intention Nellie, but it doesn't say that in the OP. The thread quickly turned to discussing events from 40 years ago. Hardly any relevance to some of the replies. The fact is, that all the blue rinse Tory Tory Tory sycophants are filling their underwear at the thought of Labour winning the GE.
I haven't got a blue rinse and I'm never likely to have a blue rinse. I'm not incontinent either. From a personal point of view who wins the election is irrelevant. I can afford it. I would, however, feel devastated for the country should it be stupid enough to pass the reins to Corbyn & Co. You think we've got troubles now? Hang on to your hat!! Still, you never know. Should Corbyn voters get their wish, the rest of us can always say we don't accept the result, quite legitimately claiming that in denying democracy a precedent has already been set. :o)
Boris and his cronies are running scared - and with good reason.
If the current polls are to be believed then Corbyn and co. have no chance.
The bookies have the Conservatives odds on to win by a big margin.
But they have to hope Nige isn't too competitive though.
Remember the polls last time round when Theresa May was predicted to get in with a decent majority?
Danny if you're than confident with the odds i assume you've placed bets?
Diddly, have you ever seen first hand how a country run by the hard left works? If so, what did you find attractive about it?
Spath, No, I don't gamble.
Why mention the "hard left" when there will be Labour MPs in varying degrees to the left who want to look after the disadvantaged of this country rather than the well-heeled elite who are quite capable of looking after themselves?
diddly, //Why mention the "hard left"//

Because Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott (all main players in a potential Labour government) - and the Labour string pullers, Momentum, are hard left - and if Labour is elected that's what the country will get.

Can you answer my question please?
I can't answer your question Naomi as I don't know to which countries you're referring/
diddlydo, you diddly do realise that whenever labour got in they became the well heeled elite and forgot all about the disadvantaged.
That was Tony Blair who should never have had the gall to even think that he was true Labour - a Tory under the Labour banner.
diddly, I'm referring to any country that has been run or is being run by the hard left. Take your pick.
How about two Jags Prescott, Deputy Prime Minister?
PS Now Baron Prescott, he has definitely joined the elite.
If they made manifestos legally binding there might be some point in reading them.
