Secret Moderators

I would like to acknowledge that there are some accounts that have been created by our moderators, to help them control the community, without breaking their normal identity.

Having multiple AnswerBank accounts is against site rules. However, these accounts have been approved by the Editors.

These moderators will be added to this thread, and you should give them as much respect as you would give to an Editor.

I can see case Stapleford for some privacy....whemn mods get involved people's
judgment of the fairness can depend on how they view that mod.. andyhughes for example gets some stick for his modding. I don't like the term secret mod though... mod 1 mod 2 etc would be better

Talking of which. On Naomi's thread (I think) re suggestions. This bloke, I presume, wrote a massive post about how to improve the site.
Anyway, he reckoned that stupid puns from stupid people who think they're clever should be banned, ditto conspiracy theories.
That's my goose cooked, I thought.
But worse was to come. All disinformation must be removed.
'That'll go down like a lead balloon' I said to myself 'Who gets to decide which information ABers can view and which is verbotin'.
Well anyway, I'd guess the next 30 or so posters practically gave him a standing ovation.
It must be me who's out of step.
