Golly Neti, I should think you are! I felt like doing sorting out today so i did. Sometimes you feel you can. There is a small box of things to go up in the attic and quite a lot to be disposed of. I now have a bottle of raspberry ginger beer. Its just a posh alcopop really but very nice over ice. Only 4% but it feels like more.

Good morning all....do you ever feel doomed to bump from domestic hiccup to domestic hiccup? Today Shughy has presented with a swelling on his upper lip, towards the back of the lip under his eye. It obviously hurt him, he wouldn't let me touch or examine it. I reckon its a sting and have given him piriton and am doing a wait and see. If i do have to take him to the vet it will be no fun. I usually take him in muzzled because he hates vets so much because he is scared. I won't be able to put the muzzle on because of the swelling and I reckon he'll need sedation before they can look at it. He's sleeping now and lying on it so I hope that's a good sign....sigh.....

Update, swelling is slowly dissipating and he has let me touch it and look at it....fingers crossed....

Oh that's good woofy...I'll never forget the day I found a lump in Charlie's neck. Thankfully it disappeared and I remembered I'd seen him snapping at bees on the cotoneaster.

Hi everyone. I've been shopping and shopping and eating and eating. Getting netbook sorted and may sell it. I was thinking of getting a samsung tablet( not iPad) any advice. As it won't have windows and is Android, do I need sim card, am confused. Can I use email etc?

Neti if its the same as ipad, and I think it is, you can use it for email and net connection without buying data (sim card payg or contract) if you only use it at home (or someone elses home) where you can connect to their wifi or in shops, pubs and so on where there is free wifi. If you want to use it on the go, its like email and internet on your mobile phone, you have to buy airtime and have a sim in it.

PS if you buy one that can take a sim, I think you can buy time when you want it and not when you don't. My sis takes her ipad to america and buys a preloaded sim to use while she is over there. In the Uk she doesn't need to use it away from home so she doesn't buy air time over here.
