FAO All Frankie's supporters. I've left a message on the original thread. He's snoring away in his basket just now. Love to everyone. Schutz.

Bea. Thank you for the message, prayers and big hugs from yourself, hubby, and your lovely dog. As you can imagine life here has been rather more than hectic, looking after Frankie, trying to get some work done, and answering all the lovely people on here in between times. I will make time to send you an e-mail today. Much love and hugs to the whole family. Schutz.

Hello again bigmamma. Thank you for the big cuddles for Frankie. He's had some breakfast, and been awake for about half-an-hour, (the longest time he's been awake in the past 7 days since his operation), but he's now fast asleep again. He'll be healing while he's asleep won't he?
Feeling a bit shattered myself at the moment, as I seem to be sleeping with both ears open in case Frankie disturbs in the night. Hopefully we'll get back to something approaching normal soon. xxxx Schutz.
Schutz, Honestly no hurry. Do appreciate how manic life is with you, for sure. Just wanted you to know that even though did not contact you yesterday you were in our thoughts + prayers. Just email me when you can- matters not when. Your priority is to your cat Frankie + to hubby . Happy just to read your updates here. Make sure you have some quality time for you too Schutz. Much love sending your way from my part of country, friendship always, Bea + dog ( hubby sends you his kind regards - he's at work right now) :-) xxx
Hi Schutzy, just checked in for an update and am so pleased to hear that Frankie is showing definite signs of recovery. Small steps they may be, but they're in the right direction.

I must admit, he's progressing quicker than I thought he might, but I'm sure that's because he's feeling secure and comfortable at home with his family and familiar surroundings. There's nothing better than your own home and your own bed when you're feeling dreadful.

It's fantastic to hear that he's feeding himself now. I'm just waiting for that other important sign to prove he's going to be as right as rain. OMG, I never thought I'd ever be hanging around waiting to hear that a cat has done a poo!!! LOL Once we know he can though, we'll know that there's no permanent damage to his alimentary system and that Frankie cat is going to be just fine.

Much love,

Aprilis x x x

Bea. I did find time to send you an e-mail this afternoon, hope you received it ok. So glad to hear that hubby is at work today. Work is very tight everywhere at the moment, here's hoping the situation gets better before too long. Will catch up with you again soon. Much love. Schutz.

Hi Aprilis. Everything does seem to be moving in the right direction for Frankie. He's still sleeping most of the time, which can only be good for him at the moment. It was great that he wanted to feed himself this morning. It does seem a bit odd waiting for him to poo, but as you say, it's so important that we know that part of his anatomy is working as it should. I'm afraid I'm not getting much work done, as I'm tending to hover to catch him when he wakes, either for his medication or food. Cats know how to get their slaves running around after them. :-)
Hoping for a good report from the vet on Tuesday.
Much love. Schutz.
Hi Schutz - glad Frankie is being waited on hand and foot - no more than he deserves.

The waiting is awful though but better he sleeps.Sure vet will be pleased with him.

ROTFL@ Aprilis hanging around waiting to hear that a cat has done a poo - absurd isn't it, people all over the world holding their breath awaiting this moment... me included! Schutz even if it happens at 3 a.m. you know what you must do: Post here about it! (Just kidding.)

While out for a walk yesterday evening I met this lovely lady cat and the only way she could send flowers to Frankie was by looking at them. I tried to capture the moment; my nephew bought a new camera and sent me his old one but I haven't even figured out how to turn the flash off yet so it didn't quite turn out the colour of the warm evening sun I would have wanted, but here she is: Flowers for Frankie from an anonymous lady cat in Stockholm. Haven't seen her today but I'm sure she would swoon with admiration if she knew Frankie has eaten half a packet of Whiskas all by himself.
Frankie must be improving half a packet of whiskers - he coming on in leaps and bounds. He'll soon be bouncing around like the lamb as predicated!!!

Hello again Swedeheart. Well it happened at last, not 3am but 12 noon today. What a relief no doubt for Frankie, and me too. And probably a relief to Aprilis when she sees this message. All seems well in that department, thank goodness. So you had a lovely sunny evening in Stockholm, here in Cheshire, England it rained nearly all evening. Wasn't it nice of your nephew to pass on his camera to you, when he upgraded, I'm sure you'll soon get used to the intricacies of it, and then you can send a new picture (perhaps with the little lady cat looking at the camera). Isn't she beautiful, so elegant and dainty, even just looking at the back of her. When you see her again, you can tell her that Frankie's flowers are much appreciated. I don't think I had better show Frankie her photo at the moment, or his blood pressure would go of the scale, she really is a sweetie. :-)
Thank you again, and for the photo. Will be in touch soon. Love Schutz.

Hi Ruth. Thanks for the beautiful photo of Issy, she is gorgeous, but what about the look on her face. It's either - "I know something that you don't know", or "You'd better take good care of Frankie, or I'll be round to your house to sort you out", :-)
I hope you have a lovely weekend, and when you get back on Monday, you'll find that Frankie has today passed the big milestone in his recovery (a poo at last), and all seems ok. What a relief. I'm feeling a bit more postive about what the vet will have to say on Tuesday. love xxxx Schutz
Frankie, pal, I am glad that you are feeling better and have, eventually, emptied the old digestive tract. I bet you are feeling so much better for that.

How does your human mum know that you are sleeping more? Don't us cats spend most of the time sleeping anyway?

I think our human slave is off up to her bed to read her magazines and stuff. We, Merlin and me, will follow up. Merlin is all girly just now - but she beat me up when I laughed at her falling off the sofa. I had a bleeding nose. But compared to how brave you have been I was a bit of a wuss.

Hi Frankiecat. Fantastic living in Scotland, have you ever seen one of those Scottish Wildcats, good looking but grumpy I believe. Yes I am awake for once, and am feeling quite a bit better. My human mum knows I'm sleeping more, because she's watching me like a hawk, and not only that I'd be outside playing with Berry, the little black cat from next door for most of the day, instead of the enforced lying in bed until i'm properly better. Sorry about your nose, but you really shouldn't have laughed at Princess Merlin when she fell of the sofa, because you know what massive paws she has, and you are usually the target. You'll have to stick up for yourself a bit more, like I do. Your Pal. Frankie the Cheshire Cat.
Hey there frankie, its samuel peeps here, so glad to hear that you are getting better, got a little tip for you from the samuel peeps relaxation guide.
